WOW I got a new Award.... Twice!!!! Thx Nae and Jenny!!!!

WOW.... I recieved this award twice! I am so greatful and is shock... I just cannot believe it.
A HUGE THANK YOU to my big sis, Nae at

Afternoon Delight

I love you and THANK YOU so much for getting me started in PSP! She is a VERY talented tut writer! Ya'll check her out!!!

I also want to send a HUGE thank you to Jenny

Thanks hun for thinking about me!!!! Jenny is a VERY talented tut writer as well as a scrapkit maker! She has some PTU kits, but she has some WONDERFUL FTU kits as well!

Ok no it is time to pass the Award onto someone else...

The aim of the award is to bring recognition to blogs with minimal followers. Since I have accepted the award I must pass it on to at least 3 other blogs (but not more than 5), that have inspired me and I feel deserve a bit more attention. The rules are to say thank you on my blog to the one who passed it on to me (Thank you Robin!!!) and link to their blog (see above). Pick the blogs to pass the award on to, leave a note on their blog and then list them with links to their blogs...

Falcon at ** StardustnDreams Tutorials **  (she is a genius tut writer!)

Elizabeth at jorgies place  (She is a tut writing fool... and good at it!)

And last but not least Shadow from   Shadows Creations  (She is also a VERY talented tut writer!)

March Tagger's Tries

This was done by Joyce and I LOVE the little music notes that she added to it!!!

Some Beach Somewhere- FTU Tut

Supplies

Ok so I am SICK AND TIRED of WINTER! lol So I decided to do this tut and dream about warming up a little.
The tube I used is by Anna Marine. I saw it on her website 3 months ago and have just been waiting on her to release it as a tube! lol You can buy it and get a license number here at CDO.
The scrapkit I am using is called "Summer Dreams" by the Collab Girls Creations. It is FTU, and you can get it here on their blog.
I am also using Jasc Paint Pro Shop 9 and Jasc Animation Shop 3.
I have also provided a template of this tag for your convinence. You can download it here.
Tutorial

Insert your main tube between the water and frame raster.
Add your name and copyright.
Copy you tube and paste as a new layer resized by about 170%; sharpen image, copy and paste as a new layer and mirror.
Take the 2 large versions of your tube and place them between the frame and ocean background rasters. Center them so that the faces are in the frames of the 2 side frames.
View->Layer-> None; select the 2 large tubes so that they are visible. Then merge-> visible (merging the rasters together). Lower the opacity to 50.
Allow the frame raster to be visible. Using the selection tool cut of any part of the larger tubes that are sticking out of the frames.
View-> None; Select the new merged (with the 2 larger tubes), ocean, background, back elements, mask, and background.
Copy Merged (shift+ctrl+L)
Go to Animation Shop (A.S)… Edit-> Paste as a New Image
Back to PSP…
(1)    Select the raster that has your 2 larger tubes merged. Lower the opacity to 46, Copy Merged
(2)    A.S… “ctrl+L”  (adds the new frame)

Repeat 1 and 2, but each time lower the opacity.
I choose to do it 46, 42, 38, 34, 30, 26, 22, 18, 14, 10, and 6
Note: This gives the fading appearance a smoother look.

In A.S…. Edit -> Select All;  Ctrl+C (to copy selected)

Then Animation-> Reverse Frames;  Edit-> Select None;  Scroll at the bottom until you reach frame 12 and then select it. Then “Paste After Current Frame” ….
There should be a Total of 24 frames
Now minimize that animation.
Now back PSP
View-> None; deselect Name, Copyright, Top flowers, water, tube, and frame rasters so that they are visible.
Select water raster…. Effects-> Alienskin Eye Candy 5: Nature-> Ripples

Copy Merged
A.S…….. Edit-> Paste as a New Animation

(1)    Back to PSP, undo effect
(2)     Redo effect, but select random speed to change the appearance slightly
(3)    Back to A.S., “Ctrl+L” to add a new frame
Repeat 1-3 until you have 24 frames like the 1st animation…
In A.S…. edit-> select all;   Ctrl+C
Go Back to first animation; edit-> select all; select propagate paste; then “paste into selected frames”
Now line it up.
Animation-> Frame Properties… 18.

Your DONE!!!! Now you can view your animation! I hope you have enjoyed this!!! Please feel free to send my your creations and I will be thrilled to show them on my blog!!! Just email them to me at chrissycmcdesign@gmail.com

Finally lol... "Bad Omen"--FTU Tut

Sorry to take so long guys, but this past week was midterms for me. Did good on all of them so everything is a go, and HOPEFULLY I will be graduating in May with my Bachelor's ... Concentration in Human Services! YAY! Ok so on to the tut!

Supplies
If you guys haven't noticed I am a big Scarlet Gothica fan.. You can get this tube and a license at Dreamscape Imaging here.
 The scrapkit I used is a freebie from Jessica at Gothic Inspirations and you can get it here.
I am also using Jasc Paint Pro Shop 9 and Animation Shop 3.
My filters I am using are Xenofex 2 and EyeCandy 4000. Sorry I can't share those.

I have also provided a template of this tutorial, there are some good screenshots in there that might be helpful to you. Also, the roses in this tut were not provided in the scrapkit... I was something that I added to it. It is really only one rose that I colorized and duplicated several times. It is also in the template I have provided for you. You can get it here.

Tutorial
Add the tube you wish to use, add your name, and copyright.
Then....
Select the sky raster and use the rectangle selection tool and outline the sky image.

With the sky outlined add a new raster. Make sure that new raster is located right above the sky raster.
Flood fill the raster layer inside the selection with a bluish gray color. Lower the opacity to 30.
Make sure only layers showing are background, mask, merged, and sky.
Select the sky layers and use Effects-> Xenofex2 ->little fluffy clouds.

Sky raster selected, effects-> xenofex2-> lightening

Copy Merged->Go to Animation shop (A.S.)-> paste as a new image, then “ctrl+L” , to add the same frame again. There should now be 2 frames
Back to PSP, undo lightening, and cloud effects. Redo light puffy clouds, but this time select “random speed”. Redo lightening but this time move the points for to change the placing of the lightening and change random speed
Copy Merged
Back to A.S.  and Ctrl+L twice
Back to PSP
Undo clouds and lightening. Redo clouds and lightening. Redo clouds and lightening (change random speed on both) and change lightening ‘s placement
Copy Merged
A.S. ctrl+L twice (total of 6 frames)
Back to PSP
Layers-> View-> None; deselect your new raster with the 30 opacity so that it is the only one visible
Eye Candy 4000-> HSB Noise

Copy merged
A.S. -> paste as a new animation
1) Back to PSP undo HSB Noise, redo with random speed. Copy Merged
2) A.S. crtl+L
Do 1-2 until you have a total of 6 frames like  in your first animation. This makes your rain.

On both animations “Edit-> select all”
Go to the rain and copy; then back to the 1st animation, (make sure “propagate past” is selected) then “paste into selected frame”. Line up the rain on top of the sky.
Back to PSP
Layers-> View-> None; deselect the top merged raster, frame, and web, Name and copyright.
Copy Merged
Back to A.S. “past into selected frame” (make sure propagate past is on)
Edit-> Select all… then Animation-> frame properties and change to 15.
Now you are ready to animate!
Hope you enjoyed this! If you try it out and like it… feel free to email it to me at chrissycmcdesign@gmail.com and I will put it on my blog!
THANKS FOR CHECKING OUT MY TUTS J
