WOW I got a new Award.... Twice!!!! Thx Nae and Jenny!!!!

WOW.... I recieved this award twice! I am so greatful and is shock... I just cannot believe it.
A HUGE THANK YOU to my big sis, Nae at

Afternoon Delight

I love you and THANK YOU so much for getting me started in PSP! She is a VERY talented tut writer! Ya'll check her out!!!

I also want to send a HUGE thank you to Jenny

Thanks hun for thinking about me!!!! Jenny is a VERY talented tut writer as well as a scrapkit maker! She has some PTU kits, but she has some WONDERFUL FTU kits as well!

Ok no it is time to pass the Award onto someone else...

The aim of the award is to bring recognition to blogs with minimal followers. Since I have accepted the award I must pass it on to at least 3 other blogs (but not more than 5), that have inspired me and I feel deserve a bit more attention. The rules are to say thank you on my blog to the one who passed it on to me (Thank you Robin!!!) and link to their blog (see above). Pick the blogs to pass the award on to, leave a note on their blog and then list them with links to their blogs...

Falcon at ** StardustnDreams Tutorials **  (she is a genius tut writer!)

Elizabeth at jorgies place  (She is a tut writing fool... and good at it!)

And last but not least Shadow from   Shadows Creations  (She is also a VERY talented tut writer!)

Sorry to take so long guys, but this past week was midterms for me. Did good on all of them so everything is a go, and HOPEFULLY I will be graduating in May with my Bachelor's ... Concentration in Human Services! YAY! Ok so on to the tut!

Supplies
If you guys haven't noticed I am a big Scarlet Gothica fan.. You can get this tube and a license at Dreamscape Imaging here.
The scrapkit I used is a freebie from Jessica at Gothic Inspirations and you can get it here.
I am also using Jasc Paint Pro Shop 9 and Animation Shop 3.
My filters I am using are Xenofex 2 and EyeCandy 4000. Sorry I can't share those.

I have also provided a template of this tutorial, there are some good screenshots in there that might be helpful to you. Also, the roses in this tut were not provided in the scrapkit... I was something that I added to it. It is really only one rose that I colorized and duplicated several times. It is also in the template I have provided for you. You can get it here.

Tutorial
Add the tube you wish to use, add your name, and copyright.
Then....
Select the sky raster and use the rectangle selection tool and outline the sky image.

With the sky outlined add a new raster. Make sure that new raster is located right above the sky raster.
Flood fill the raster layer inside the selection with a bluish gray color. Lower the opacity to 30.
Make sure only layers showing are background, mask, merged, and sky.
Select the sky layers and use Effects-> Xenofex2 ->little fluffy clouds.

Sky raster selected, effects-> xenofex2-> lightening

Copy Merged->Go to Animation shop (A.S.)-> paste as a new image, then “ctrl+L” , to add the same frame again. There should now be 2 frames
Back to PSP, undo lightening, and cloud effects. Redo light puffy clouds, but this time select “random speed”. Redo lightening but this time move the points for to change the placing of the lightening and change random speed
Copy Merged
Back to A.S.  and Ctrl+L twice
Back to PSP
Undo clouds and lightening. Redo clouds and lightening. Redo clouds and lightening (change random speed on both) and change lightening ‘s placement
Copy Merged
A.S. ctrl+L twice (total of 6 frames)
Back to PSP
Layers-> View-> None; deselect your new raster with the 30 opacity so that it is the only one visible
Eye Candy 4000-> HSB Noise

Copy merged
A.S. -> paste as a new animation
1) Back to PSP undo HSB Noise, redo with random speed. Copy Merged
2) A.S. crtl+L
Do 1-2 until you have a total of 6 frames like  in your first animation. This makes your rain.

On both animations “Edit-> select all”
Go to the rain and copy; then back to the 1st animation, (make sure “propagate past” is selected) then “paste into selected frame”. Line up the rain on top of the sky.
Back to PSP
Layers-> View-> None; deselect the top merged raster, frame, and web, Name and copyright.
Copy Merged
Back to A.S. “past into selected frame” (make sure propagate past is on)
Edit-> Select all… then Animation-> frame properties and change to 15.
Now you are ready to animate!

Love Song- FTU Tut

Supplies
The romantic tube I chose is a gorgeous piece of art created by Scarlet Gothic. You can buy this tube and get a licence number here. The scrapkit is a freebie from DigiScrapbooking and you can get it here. The mask I used was created by Laurie and you can get it on her blog along with tons of other beautiful masks. You can go here to get it. I am using Jasc Paint Shop 9. My filters are MuraMiesters Copies and Eye Candy 3 Glow.
Also for a EASY tag I have provided a template so all you really have to do is put in your tube ;) . You can get it here.

Tutorial
Ok first thing that I am going to explain is how to may the frame. Go to the scrapkit and open the turquoise flower. Resize 15%. Add drop shadow (4, 4, 40, 4). Now go to effect and select the MuraMiesters Copies and your settings should be as follows:
(if you cant see it I have provided a screenshot in the supplies that I provided you with)

Open the leaves you want from the kit to be your frames background (I used the silver ones) and resize them accordingly. Add drop shadow. Repeat steps with MuraMiesters Copy.
Now bring the flowers' raster to the top so that the flowers are in front of the leaves.
Now open the red bow from the kit. And repeat steps with MuraMiesters, but this time change the number from 18 to 6.
Select the leaves raster.
Take the lasco (freehand selection tool) and trace around the middle of the leaves so that all the inside half of them is inside the selection. Delete. This will make it so that only the outside of the leaves are visible and there are no leaves inside the middle of the frame.

Now make it so the only 3 rasters that are visible are the flowers, leaves, and bows. Merge Visible to make your frame.

Now to place the tube inside of the frame.
Select your tube and resize it accordingly. Now arrange it over the frame. Add your drop shadow and copy it. Take the magic wand and select inside the frame. Selections-> modify-> expand by 4.
Selection-> Invert. Make sure the tube layer is selected now and click "delete". Arrange the frame raster so it is on top of the tube raster. Now "Paste as a new layer". Your second tube image should appear and put it on top of the frame raster. Line of the second tube on top of the original tube. Use your freehand selection tool to get rid of the excess tube so that it gives your tag a 3D look.

Now go through and select the items you would like in the background and start creating you tag.

Once you have gotten you tag how you like it add your copyright and your name. Convert your name vector to a raster layer.
Effects-> EyeCandy 3-> Glow:

now just add your drop shadow to your text.

Thats it! Hope you enjoyed this. Feel free to leave a comment or send me an email.

THANKS!!!

MY FIRST AWARD!!!!! OH YEA!!!!!

WOW! I cannot believe that I actually recieved an award! I NEVER thought this would happen, but I am so proud that I received it! Thank you Nae! You are the best sister anyone can ask for and thank you so much for getting me into PSP! Her tut blog is "Afternoon Delight" and she has tons of very creative and BEAUTIFUL tuts there!!! Thank you guys for checking out my blog and keeping this wonderful hobby of mine exciting and fun!

Now on with the award.

My Blog has Attitude Award
In order to qualify for the $5.00 Digi's with Attitude! Gift Certificate you must state 3 things that make you different from everyone else and you must nominate 5 blogs. Lastly you must display the Blog Award Badge (above) in your sidebar and link it back to the Digi's With Attitude! Blog.

If you have been awarded the "I got Attitude! Blog Award" and you have followed all the steps please email dwacblog@live.com to claim your Gift Certificate. Include your full name and your blog name. Only one Gift Certificate per person & blog please. Gift Certificates will be sent to you within 48 hours of receipt on a business day via a reply to the email received.

Here are the 3 things that make me different from everyone else...

1. I am a rape SURVIVOR. This is something that I was a shamed of of a long time, but now I am certain it happen for a reason. So that I can sympathize with other victims and help them through their troubled times. When I finally opened up about it, other doors opened up for me. I have already helped a few individuals , and to see them smile and heal makes what I went through worth it. Cause if it hadnt happen to me, I would not be able to fully understand what they went through and be able to help. Women are made from rubber, you can throw us down, but we bounce right back up! You can't keep a good woman down! PSP has been such a blessing because I can focus and channel emotions and it truely has been a therapy for me!

2. I am graduating in May 2011 with my Bachelor's of Science in Human Services (a mix between Social Work and Psychology) from University of Tennessee in Martin.

3. I am married to an INCREDIBLE man and my best friend of 7 years, Aaron. Who's love and support has helped me to keep living and made me alive!

I would like to nominate for this award the following 5 blogs::

Maree (aka Falcon) @ **Stardust and Dreams Tutorials**
Bev @ Horseplay's Pasture
Elizabeth @ Jorgie's Place
Vanessa @ Leather and Lace Tuts

Love Potion-FTU Tut

Supplies
I am using Jasc Paint Pro Shop 9 (PSP) and Jasc Animation Shop 3 (A.S.).
One of my favorite artist to use is Scarlet Gothica, and this just happens to be one of her tubes :) She is primarily pay-to-use, but she does have some free-to-use tubes out there. This is one of them; however, I do not have permission to give them to you myself, but you can join "Dragon's Lair Tubes" (which is a yahoo group). They have permission to distribute them, and you can get Scarlet Gothica plus TONS of other artists as well.
This scrapkit I am using is one by "PokaDotScraps" called "Vampire Diaries" and you can get it here.
The mask I am using is by "Laurie Made Me Scraps". She has ALOT of very fancy and artistic masks on her blog and you can get them here.
The effects I am going to use is AlienSkin EyeCandy 5: Nature Ripples and Smoke.
Also to make things alittle easier for you I am also giving you a template of this tag. That way all you have to do is add your tube and animation!!! :) You can get that here.
Tutorial
The first thing you need to do after you download the template is select what tube you want to use and insert it into the tag. To do this use the lasco selection tool, select the frame raster, and paste your tube as a new image. Go to selections and invert, then delete. This will get rid of any excess tube from around the outside of the frame. Now add your tube again, but this time don't select the frame (you want this raster to be on top of the fram to give it a 3d effect). Now with your freehand selection tool trace around the bottom part of the tube, so when you delete the selection only the top half of the tube is still sticking out. This will make her look like the bottom half of her is inside the frame, and the top is outside the frame. This effect will give you a 3D look ;) .
Add your copyright and name.

Ok here is the fun part!!!! We get to make the love potion brew! Using the free selection tool trace inside the glass so the the top of the liquid is selected.

(I have included these screen shots in the floder with the template incase you need to get a larger and closer look)

Now go to your effects and select AlienSkin EyeCandy 5:Nature Ripples.
and your settings should be as the following:

(Make sure that "Create Outside of Selection" is NOT selected)
Now got to AlienSkin EyeCandy 5: Nature Smoke and do the following:

Now select Ok

Ok.. you are now ready to start the actual animation!

Copy Merged your image (ctrl+shift+C).
Go to your A.S.
edit->paste as a new animation

go back to PSP
undo the last 2 effects, but this time when you go to redo them select "Random Speed" and it will slightly alter the effect (when you do this a couple of times that is how you get the flow for your animation).
After you have redone the effects Copy Merged (ctrl+shift+C).

Go to A.S.
and hit Ctrl+L to insert the new frame :)

now go back to PSP and undo and redo the effects (selection random speed each time), Then go to A.S. and insert the new frame. Do this 5-7 times till you get your desired look.

Now in A.S. after you have all your frames added, go to Edit-Select All. Then go to Animation, then Frame Properties. You want to change this amount to 15. This will slow down how fast your animation is going to provide a more wispy steam then a fast one... Now you can animate!

I hope you have enjoyed this! Feel free to email me your creation or leave me a comment!

THANKS!!!!
